Carl Perry has been promoted to the role of Investment Director, following his work on successful investments in the Black Country and Leeds. Carl joined the Growth Capital team in 2018 and delivered his first deal from FDC’s Regional Debt Fund in September 2018. The investment provided £2.5m for the MBO of Bowman Stor, a specialist filtration manufacturer based in Aldridge, West Midlands. More recently, Carl secured a £3m investment to fund the acquisition of Aspen Hill Village (formerly Copper Hill) one the biggest nursing care homes in Leeds.
Kathryn Hoverd previously worked in the Operations Team, providing operations support to an office of 25 employees in Birmingham. FDC is sponsoring Kathryn to train as an accountant, and she began studying for an ACA qualification in early 2018, passing all her exams to date. Kathryn has been promoted to the role of Portfolio Executive, reporting to Portfolio Director Clive Broadhurst. Her new role includes maintaining and analysing financial information from clients, supporting risk management processes, and coordinating fee collection.
FDC congratulates Carl and Kathryn on their promotions, which reflects their hard work and commitment to the business.
