The Deal

Bowman Stor is behind the world’s first condensate filter made from recycled glass. It recieved a £2.5million investment from FDC to facilitate a management buyout (MBO) by its current managing director, Richard Potts.

Richard Potts, Managing Director at Bowman Stor commented:

“We found FDC to be different from other people we talked with because they were interested in me personally and interested in the business. They wanted to find out and be involved in what we do. From my perspective, I wanted someone who could relate to the business and see the growth potential and where we were. It was more about a partnership in helping us to get to where we wanted to take the business and help us achieve our long-term strategic plan, which was crucial to finding the right partner.”
