FDC supported Lioncourt Homes in accessing a £1.4million investment via West Midlands Combined Authority funding. The deal will kick start regneration of a vacant industrial site based on Mill Lane, Oldbury. The brownfield land will be transformed into a residential development, comprising of 84 homes, 16 of which will be sold a on shared ownership basis.
Lioncoourt agreed a construction employment and skills plan with Sandwell Council, meaning the development will create five full time jobs and three paid apprenticeships.

“The Mill Lane site has been void since the 1990’s, so it’s fantastic to see a developer regenerating vacant brownfield land in order to bring forward much needed quality housing for local families."
