The Business

Rainier Developments are a privately owned land and development company developing both greenfield and brownfield sites throughout the UK.

Combining their in-house experience of over 150 years they are a market leader in property and land development.

The Deal

Investment via the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) to regenerate a site in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. The funding supports the constructions of a modern manufacturing studio along with 37 one- and two-bedroom apartments, and other commercial space. The development replaces the existing 1960s building in Tenby Street that is home to Charles Green & Son, a family-run business established in 1824, allowing one of Birmingham’s longest established firms to remain on site.
