Fraudulent prevention: Staying vigilant in a digital age

In an era where digital financial transactions are the norm, the rise of fraudulent websites has become an unfortunate reality. It’s crucial to be aware that not all websites are trustworthy, and some even go to the extent of masquerading as legitimate businesses, leveraging their credentials to appear credible.

Frontier Development Capital has been alerted to fraudsters cloning aspects of our branding and website with the aim of obtaining sensitive, personal information that could result in financial loss to their victims. The fraud is being undertaken using business names similar to FDC as well as showcasing our FCA registration number.

Please do not provide any of your details to these fake firm and, if you have done so, please let us know by telephone on 0345 319 4528. This is our legitimate contact number and can be verified via the FCA’s Financial Services Register. We also recommend you contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 who will give you advice on how you can protect yourself from fraud.

We report any fraudulent use of our name, branding and registration etc. to the Financial Conduct Authority and to the National Cyber Security Centre and strive to take steps to have fraudulent websites taken down.

Remember, vigilance is your first line of defence in safeguarding your financial well-being.
